ในการใช้ will be Ving และ การใช้ will have V3 (Future Continuous และ Future Perfect) นั้น Future Continuous ใช้บอกเหตการณ์ที่กำลังเกิดขึ้นในอนาคต และ Future Perfect ใช้บอกว่าในเวลาใดเวลาหนึ่งในอนาคตเหตุการณ์บางอย่างจะเสร็จสิ้นลง เพื่อนๆ อย่าเพิ่งงงนะคะ อันที่่จริงเราได้เคยพูดเอาไว้ในเรื่อง โครงสร้าง 12 tenses หลักการและวิธีการใช้ tense ทั้ง 12 มาบ้างแล้ว เรามาดูรายละเอียดในเรื่องนี้กันเพิ่มเติมดีกว่าค่ะ
เพื่อให้เข้าใจการใช้ will be Ving และ การใช้ will have V3 ขอให้เพื่อนๆ ลองพิจารณาเหตุการณ์ต่อไปนี้นะคะ
These people are standing in a queue to get into the concert hall.
คนเหล่านี้กำลังยืนเข้าคิวเพื่อรอเข้าห้องแสดงคอนเสิร์ต
Half an hour from now, the concert hall will be full.
Everyone will be watching the show. [will + be + V-ing]
ครึ่งชั่วโมงจากนี้ห้องแสดงคอนเสิร์ตจะเต็ม ทุกคนจะ(กำลัง)ดูคอนเสิร์ต
Three hours from now, the concert hall will be empty.
The show will have finished. [will + have + V3]
Everyone will have gone home. [will + have + V3]
สามชั่วโมงต่อจากนี้ห้องแสดงคอนเสิร์ตจะว่างเปล่า
การแสดงจะเสร็จสิ้น
ทุกคนจะกลับบ้าน
[will + be + V-ing] เป็น Future Continuous ใช้บอกเหตุการณ์ที่กำลังเกิดขึ้นในอนาคต
[will + have + V3] เป็น Future Perfect ใช้บอกว่าในเวลาใดเวลาหนึ่งในอนาคตเหตุการณ์บางอย่างจะเสร็จสิ้นลง

เปรียบเทียบ will be doing กับ will do:
Don’t phone between 7 and 8. We‘ll be having dinner.
Let’s wait for Pranee to arrive and then we‘ll have dinner.
เปรียบเทียบ will be V-ing กับ continuous รูปแบบอื่น:
At 9 o’clock yesterday, Surachai was in his office. He was working. (Past Continuous)
It’s 9 o’clock now. Surachai is in his office. He is working. (Present Continuous)
At 9 o’clock tomorrow, Surachai will be in his office. He will be working.
เราใช้ will be Ving บอกถึงการกระทำที่จะทำเสร็จในอนาคต ตัวอย่างเช่น
I will be going away this summer?
Will you be going away this summer?
Our best player is injured and won’t be playing in the game on Saturday.
ตัวอย่างข้างต้น will be V-ing จะคล้ายกันกับ (be) going to
I will have done something (Future Perfect) = ฉันทำบางสิ่งเสร็จสิ้นสมบูรณ์(ในอนาคต)
Surachai always leaves for work at 8.30 in the morning. He won’t be at home at 9 o’clock he’ll have gone to work.
I’m late. The show will already have started by the time I get to the hall.
